Welcome!
Thank you for your interest in Longmeadow Montessori, a NAEYC accredited non-profit early education program located on the Town Green in Longmeadow, Massachusetts. As you explore our website and get to know us, you will discover the many unique aspects of our program that will create a wonderful beginning to your child’s educational journey.
Since 1986, Longmeadow Montessori has been dedicated to the child-centered philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori. We are committed to nurturing each child's sense of wonder, fostering respect for cultural diversity, and encouraging both academic and social emotional development. We encourage creativity, independence, self-confidence, self-esteem, and prepare children for a lifelong love of learning.

Creating a love of learning begins in our classrooms with our immersive hands-on curriculum and the strong relationships built between teachers and children. Our environment places great value in patience, kindness, and mutual respect, which encourages children to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Community is another valued aspect of our program. We strive to create a school community that appreciates the important connection between the home and school lives of our families. We believe children thrive when all adults in their lives are working together as a team toward common goals. We offer opportunities throughout the school year to strengthen this connection through workshops, volunteer opportunities, and school-wide social events.
Our families are our top priority and because of this we offer flexible scheduling options to best meet the needs of parents and children. We want children to have the best of home and school so we will work together with you to develop a schedule that allows for this balance. We also offer programs before and after the regular school day and during school vacations, including during the summer months.
Please take the time to schedule a tour and gain a sense of our unique and welcoming environment.
